In this Artist-led Handlettering Workshop, you will be introduced to the very basics you need to create your own Handlettering to decorate a (Christmas) greeting card. You will get a short introduction and practice session on letters and different fonts; however, our focus is on having fun and creating. Finally, you will be guided step by step through the process of creating your own Christmas Card Handlettering. Discover the Art of Writing and the letters! Handlettering is about the beauty of every single letter, how to create and arrange them. You think you cannot write nicely and that your own handwriting isn't super clear and neat? No worries! Handwriting and Handlettering are not the same! Many have messy handwriting, and even though, they create stunning Handletterings!
Come even when you think you are not creative– everyone can be creative!
Once again, with the Creative Break Workshops I intend to create an easygoing and fun atmosphere for everyone to relax, clam down, enjoy the creative flow and create a nice memory to take home.

What material is included in the price?
The cost includes essential supplies for the workshop, such as pens, fineliners, pencils, erasers, and more. Additionally, you will take home:
- Exercise sheets
- Two cards
- One folded card with an envelope
The studio rental fee is also included in the overall price.

This Creative After Work DIY Handlettering Christmas Card Workshop will have a follow-up session on Monday, 02.12. 2024, starting at 18:00 – feel free to call it part 2.
In this workshop, we will learn how to create cards with Christmas-themed watercolor illustrations. However, attending both workshops is not mandatory, and you don't need prior skills from the first workshop to join the second one and vice versa; it simply blends two different techniques and styles.
If you book both workshops together, you'll save €10.

Can I bring my own materials ?
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your own supplies, such as pens, gel pens, brush pens, or blank cards, as a supplement to the materials we provide. However, this is not required—everything you need to create your hand-lettered Christmas card, as shown in the pictures, will be supplied for you!
Do I have to create a christmas themed Handlettering?
Definitely not! If you're not celebrating Christmas or if you simply resonate with the Grinch side ;) you can design a card featuring any other slogan. For example, I've also prepared a "Let it Snow" card. The foundational skills we'll learn are essential for all your hand lettering projects, and I'll assist you in creating any themed greeting card you desire. Tervetuloa!
